CARLOS (CHARLIE) VEGA
Founder CEO/ CFO

Carlos has a reputation for excellent customer service, high quality ethics, accuracy in accounting and continuous improvement. These are the four pillars which underpin ACE Accountants and Associates. Carlos began his accounting career more than 30 years ago, when he studied an Advanced Diploma of Accounting. He worked as a Management Accountant for Oracle Systems, Boral, O’Brien Glass, Honeywell, and West Farmers before starting ACE Accountants and Associates. His specialty areas include Taxation, Financial reporting, Auditing, Payroll, debt collection, Business and Corporate Advice, Accounting and Bookkeeping. He has experience in implementing and transferring organisations to new accounting software. Carlos also provides businesses with high quality advice and support to implement internal accounting programs, policies, and procedures.
LILIANA ARAQUE
Accountant
Liliana is a qualified professional accountant with experience in both Australia and South America. She is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company and applies her knowledge and skills to successfully deliver high-quality services to our clients. Liliana has a degree in accounting and diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards. Furthermore, she had worked in the big four accounting firm, one of them being Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited. In addition, Liliana has experience in tax preparation, accounts receivable and payable, and financial reporting. Liliana is bilingual, speaks both English and Spanish, and holds Xero Advisor, Xero Payroll, and QuickBooks Online Certifications.
ANGELA PARADA
Accountant
Angela has a degree in Accounting and Diploma Skill Management. Angela is currently working for ACE Accountants and Associates applying her knowledge and skills to successfully deliver high quality services to our clients. Angela is bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish. Angela has experience in providing BAS preparation, tax advice, regulatory compliance and governance requirements as well as reviewing the reconciliations for business clients. Furthermore, Angela analyses income and expenditure of the business, financial figures, prepares variance analysis, cash flow budget and forecast, operational advice for clients. Angela holds a Xero Advisor, Xero Payroll and QuickBooks.

VIVIANA FRIAS
Administration Officer

Viviana is a competent professional in Economics who has experience in both Australia and South America. She has specialized in Administration and Finance having close contact both with clients and suppliers. Viviana has a bachelor’s degree with more than 3 years of experience in management and monitoring of administrative procedures regarding key accounts as well as billing, collections, payment procedures of suppliers, financial projections, and generating first-rate management reports, which include consolidated and summarized data, with costs invested, and profitability. Viviana is part of the ACE Accountants and Associates team as support to provide excellent service to our clients and provides support to the CEO/CFO, helping to manage administrative needs.
DENISE SANDOVAL
Administration Officer

Denise is the consummate professional and a key member of our team who keeps our office functioning at its best. With more than 5 years of experience in Quality assurance, she is able to capitalize on her exceptional office management skills including planning, coordinating, and developing policy and procedures. Denise has a degree in Computer science, a Diploma in Project Administration, as well a diploma as System Analyst. Furthermore, Denise provides support to the CEO/CFO, helping to manage their calendars and administrative needs. Denise is bilingual and speaks English and Spanish.
CATALINA TRIANA
Marketing Manager
Catalina is an integral part of our team, who has been tasked with the development and implementation of our social media and marketing strategies. She is an accomplished social media and marketing specialist, who provides tailored solutions to our clients, designed to improve their business. She obtained a Bachelors degree in Industrial Design from the University Jorge Tadeo Lozano, Colombia, and Graduate Certificate in Design and Communications from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Additionally, Catalina has also advanced her skills by obtaining a Diploma in Social Media and an Advance Diploma in Marketing and Communications while residing in Sydney, Australia. Catalina is passionate about digital marketing, marketing strategies, content development and graphic design. Catalina has more than seven years’ experience in developing businesses through effective social media and marketing strategies, for both domestic and international businesses. With a focus on generating high quality leads to improve a business’s profitability, she leverages Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google to achieve business growth and brand awareness. Catalina is multilingual and fluent in both Spanish and English.
SHANE OGDEN
Strategic Business Advisor​

Shane joined Ace Accountants and Associates in 2021 and is responsible for Human Resource Management and Marketing and Media strategies. He provides expert business advice regarding operations and strategy to our business and our customers. Shanes has worked in a wide variety of industries including Aviation, Defence, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Tourism and Transportation to name a few. For the last 10 years he has been a private business consultant helping his clients to build a more robust organisation through Human Resources Management, Organisational Structure and Financial Management strategies. Shane has a Diploma of Accounting, a Masters of Business Administration, a Masters of International Business and is currently completing a Juris Doctor, with the aim of being admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales as a lawyer.
